BELIEVE THIS DOSE GLASS IS OLD, AND "EXTREMELY RARE" TO FIND VARIETY ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT "EXTREMLY RARE" AND THIS CAME OUT OF AUTHOR'S COLLECTION, SO HE WOULD KNOW.....THE TOWN OF GARDEN GROVE IS UNLISTED IS UNLISTED IN ED MILLER'S DOSE GLASS CATALOG, AND OBVIOUSLY THIS MERCHANT....THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE A "LATE ADDITION" TO THE AUTHOR'S COLLECTION, WHICH NEVER MADE IT IN HIS CATALOG
THE TOWN OF GARDEN GROVE ACTUALLY GOES WAY BACK TO 1874......SO THIS IS A HISTORIC ORANGE COUNTY TOWN
...JUST A BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN...AGAIN THIS IS EX-MILLER COLLECTION...POSSIBLY WOULD TURN PURPLE, HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE DIRECT SUN.
This is a beautiful and believe extremely rare old "GARDEN GROVE" CALIFORNIA issued "DOSE GLASS" .....This comes out of a lifetime collection of California dose glasses , where original owner collected dose glasses from all over state of California...here is a stunning representative from "GARDEN GROVE CALIFORNIA" in that collection.....rare town, unlisted
These old western drug store "dose glasses" are flat out tough to find today......and this is a tough western town.....
The town of Garden Grove goes back to 1874, located in Orange County, not far from Stanton, Fountain Valley, Westminster and the original Disneyland park.
This dose glass is what I would call a
clear
colored glass, it stands about 2" tall  ...and it is a very nice specimen,

,  I took pictures from all angles and in different lighting conditions to show glass, ...Has the age and would possibly turn darker purple if left in sun...the white lettering is in excellent condition
