Dr. J.H. McLean's Tar Wine Lung Balm Bottle, St. Louis Missouri Medicine Bottle 5 1/4". This light aqua medicine bottle is in good condition with residue inside & scratches outside. No chips, cracks or repairs. I do not have the proper tools to clean the inside, so I'll leave that up to the buyer. This embossed bottle says: Dr. J. H. McLean's Tar Wine Lung Balm, St. Louis, MO. It measures 5 1/4" high 2 1/2" wide & holds 3 ounces. There's a "5" on the bottom.
There's some nice swirls in the glass above the embossing.
This medicine was used to treat coughs, colds & diseases of the throat & lungs. It's a cool Dr. McLean's balm bottle for any medicine bottle collector.
