Up for bid is a lovely pair of late 19th century French, Antique Cobalt Blue Apothecary Bottles. They are are both blown as evidenced by the pontil marks at base. Condition is very good other than a small chip on underside of lip to the larger bottle as shown in magnified picture. There are no cracks or other issues. They are very clean with only very minor wear. Upon close inspection, there are some bubbles and other irregularities commensurate with their age. Not bad for surviving two World Wars. Smaller bottle is 6.5” with stopper and just under 2.5 base. Larger is 9.5” tall and 4” at base. Excellent cobalt color.
