:   Bottle is in good condition.  It has a ding or broken bubble on the upper left side of the front panel, along with some content residue and age wear.  (Please see pictures for better idea of overall condition)

1800's

This bottle looks like a mouth wash bottle until you read the label and realize
it actually contained a liquid tooth paste, liquid dentifrice, a carbolic wash to brush teeth
with.  As the label reads, "
... Wet tooth brush, add a few drops Carbolic Mouth Wash, brush teeth in usual way ...
" it was a liquid tooth was

So we made a color-copy of the original label
to show this information.

he label goes on to say,
"HELPS PRESERVE TEETH, Heals Gums ... Destroys Many Disease Germs ... THE DAILY USE OF THIS PREPARATION PRESERVES THE TEETH AND GUMS."
That is what's fun about collecting bottles like this as they originally
contained not much more than a liquid or powdered tooth paste, yet they claimed that they cured all types of diseases of the mouth, gums, throat, e
ven things that they still can't cure today.
Many of the collectors of antique dental bottles are dentists, building small collections of quality antique dental bottles to display in their waiting rooms and offices and this is a prime example of just this sort of thing
