    Description

    For your consideration is this antique 1885-1895 amber glass Paine's Celery Compound medicine bottle with label.  This "Nerve Tonic" and "Laxative" supposedly cured many ailments.  The cost back in the day was .00 per bottle.  Made in the USA by Wells, Richardson & Co. of Burlington VT.  The bottle is in good overall condition with no cracks or chips.  The back label is missing and there is slight damage to the front label.  The cork is new. The bottle measures 9 3/4" in height.
