Annette Funicello “Hope” Lavender Mohair 16” Angel Bear - Original Box COA #2673.
Hope is from the Annette Funicello Angel Bear Collection. She is approximately 16" tall. Hope is sculpted of lush ivory mohair tipped with lavender. She is fully jointed with puffy, satiny ivory wings. Her nose and mouth are hand stitched. She has shoe button eyes. She has a gold and purple halo with an attached gold Guardian Angel pin. She is wearing a braided ivory choker with faux pearl droplets. She has a plastic harp and is ready to serenade. Attached to her ear is a signature logo pin by Annette. Hope is a limited edition, #2,673 of 20,000. Hope was designed by celebrated bear artist Lenore DeMent in collaboration with Annette Funicello, especially for the Annette Funicello Bear Company.
Hope was purchased at an estate sale and I removed her from the box for pictures. I do not know if she had previously ever been removed from her original box- it does not appear so. I can find no defects on her. COA is present in original envelope. Box shows wear and some slight discoloration. Please see photos for condition.
