Annette Funicello “Faith” 19” Pink Mohair Angel Bear - Original Box COA #3038. Condition is Used.
Faith is the 7th Angel bear from the Angel Collection. This most sophisticated Victorian angel bear stands 19" tall and is fully jointed. Her body is sculpted in fine pink mohair accentuated with luxurious ivory velveteen paw pads. Faith has warm brown eyes and a hand stitched nose and mouth. Her halo is delicately wrapped in gold and mauve ribbons. Gracefully flowing over Faith's shoulders are genuine ostrich feather Angel wings. Faith wears an exquisite antique lace collar with a beautiful gold tone locket which holds a photograph of Annette and a special message. Faith was designed by celebrated bear artist Lenore DeMent in collaboration with Annette Funicello, especially for the Annette Funicello Bear Company. Faith is distinguished by a Guardian Angel pin as well as a signature pin designed by Annette and comes with a certificate of Authenticity. Limited edition and this is number 3,038 of 20,000.
Faith was purchased at an estate sale and I removed her from the box for pictures. I do not know if she had previously ever been removed from her original box- it does not appear that she had. I can find no defects on her other than slight discoloration of the lockets’ interior due to age. COA is present in original envelope. Box shows wear and some slight discoloration. Box has ink labeling contents on back upper corner. Please see photos for condition.
