Designed by Michele Brown, this vintage mohair teddy bear is part of the Annette Funicello Teddy Tales Collection.
Famous for her long golden hair, the fairytale character Rapunzel was locked inside a doorless, stairless tower by her adoptive mother, a sorceress. Rapunzel would let down her hair so that her mother could climb Rapunzel's "golden stair."
This Rapunzel bear has a long braided tress entwined with faux pearls. Beautifully detailed, she's wearing elegant Medieval style clothing and a crown of peach blossom rosettes. The traditional Annette Funicello pin is attached to her left ear and a paper tag is attached to her left paw.
Rapunzel is appx. 17" long and 12" tall sitting. She comes from a smoke-free and vape-free home. No unpleasant odors or damage of any kind. No missing pieces. Always displayed inside a glass cabinet.
