Pan Am Clipper Ship Covers Collection highlighted by a very scarce first flight cover from a 1935 California to Hawaii amd return survey flight. (See last two pictures) It is signed by famous pilot Edwin Musick as well as both postmasters from Honolulu and San Francisco. This rare cover is mentioned on page 111 of Jon E. Krupnick's book "Pan American's Pacific Pioneers." The Honolulu Advertiser newspaper described the flight as "The fastest mail delivery ever between California and Hawaii." This cover should bring a very good price at any auction, it is almost unknown. The rest of the collection is made up of 37 covers, three postcards, various photos, a couple of covers with letters, the rare Time Magazine dated May 02, 1935 with Edwin music on the cover, (it alone sells for 0 - 0.) The collection also includes clipper photos and stories of Pan Am history.
