    This is not a calibrated detector for precise measurements, but gives a rough idea of the presence of ultraviolet light.
    UVA or UVB light will cause a color change in the left-hand box labeled UV.  The speed and darkness of the color change are proportional to the UV exposure, and the change will fade slowly once the exposure ends.
    UVC light will cause the letters "UVC" in the right-hand box to glow, only during exposure.  More UVC = brighter glow.
