2002 GMC Sierra 2500

Description

Two owner southern truck with the highly sought after 8100 Vortec!  No rust!  I bought this truck from Texas off of ebay approximately 5 years ago when it had 88k miles.  The truck has the opotional 8.1 big block and Allison trans.  This truck has never let me down.  Would make someone a great work truck or truck to pull a camper or horse trailer.  I bought the truck to pull my horse trailer primarily.  My horse trailer when loaded down is approximately 6500 pounds and that has been the most common trailer Ive pulled with it.  Ive pulled a load of hay twice that weighed approximately 13k pounds.  When I first got the truck, I used Royal Purple oil and now over the past 3 years, its had nothing but Mobil One Full Synthetic every 3k miles.  The truck will burn 1 quart in 3k miles which is about average for these big blocks.  Tires are at approx 40 percent so I would say will need tires in the next 10k miles.
The good:  oil/filter changes every 3k since I have owned it, never been abused, very dependable truck that I would drive anywhere, new Bilstein shocks on all 4, new rear brakes 3k ago, new windshield, very clean interior, no smoke smells, comes with B and W gooseneck hitch
The bad:  sometimes it takes 3 times of turning the key off and back on to start.  It always starts by the third time tho.  One mechanic thinks its the check valve in the fuel pump and another thinks its an injector bleeding off.  It has been like this all 5 years I have owned it and its not such a big incovenience for me to get it fixed.  Sometimes it will start right up with no hesitation.  The drivers side bed of the truck does have scratches and the paint doesnt look as good close up. The dash also has a crack
