    Original Old stock with contents and labels
    1. DEWITT’S Gaduol tonic pills Cod Liver Oil.
    Amber bottle with sealed cork top. Full bottle of black pills. “11” and triangle on bottom.  Label stained.  3 ½” tall
    2. DeWitt’s Witch Hazel Salve tin in box.
    Cardboard box with wear and damage. Top is missing.  Includes advertising insert never removed before pictures. One ounce tin is very shiny and new looking from being in the box.  Both sides are heavily embossed.
    These bottles are part of my collection.
    I started collecting medicines in the early 1970s and stopped about 1985. These have been in storage since then.
    I’ve owned the bottles with labels, in boxes or with contents since 1971 and I am the original retail purchaser of these bottles. I had a summer job selling product to drug stores. In Greenville, SC, I found over 100 bottles of old store stock. The owner bought the pharmacy after WWII and put all the old stock he didn’t think would sell in cabinets. I sold most of the bottles but kept the ones I liked the most. I am selling them now.
