BELIEVE THIS DOSE GLASS IS EARLY, AND A RARE TOWN, ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT "EXTREMELY RARE" AND HE WOULD KNOW...CAME OUT OF THE AUTHOR'S COLLECTION, AND SHOWS AS THE ONLY KNOWN DOSE GLASS ISSUED FOR "BERKELEY IN THE MILLER DRUG STORE DOSE GLASS CATALOG
.....IT HAS CRISP EMBOSSING, AND IS LIGHT PURPLE COLORED, BUT HAS THE AGE, WOULD TURN DARKER PURPLE IF LEFT IN SUNLIGHT....JUST A BEAUTY...BELIEVE FROM THE 1900'S ERA....THERE IS A BUBBLE NEAR THE LIP, NO DAMAGE
This is a beautiful and believe scarce old "BERKELEY" CALIFORNIA issued "DOSE GLASS" .....This comes out of a lifetime collection of California dose glasses , where original owner collected dose glasses from all over state of California...here is a stunning representative from "BERKELEY CALIFORNIA" in that collection...(again.....this is the only listed dose glass for this town)
These old western drug store "dose glasses" are flat out tough to find today......and this is a rare town, and tough "type 2" variety
THIS DOSE GLASS DISPLAYS WONDERFULLY, EMBOSSING IS CRISP & NICE, ..DISPLAYS WELL, NICE COLOR, VERY SHARP PC.
This dose glass is what I would call a
light sun purpled to clear
colored glass, it stands about 2 3/4" tall  ...and it is a very nice specimen,
