Circa 1900-1905 medicine bottle embossed "S.A.D. Sheppard & Co./ Pharmacists / Boston". Samuel Arus Darlington Sheppard was born in Manchester, MA in 1842 and in 1868 opened his drug store at 881 Washington St., moving a short time later to 1121 Washington St., Boston. This Whitall Tatum bottle is embossed on the bottom "W.T. Co. / U.S.A."; measures 4-3/4" tall; has light staining with heavier stain inside the neck & shoulder.
