This is a rare pontiled apothecary dental bottle over 120 years old with fired on enamel label which readsCAULK'S T.C.ALLOY
in gold & red letters on white background....gold trim....Hand blown with ground pontil scar on bottom....wide mouth flared ring lip....ground inside neck with original ground hollow blown glass stopper.....clear....round...4 5/8"tall including stopper....Sparkling mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind to bottle or original glass stopper. Shiny clean with no haze. Beautiful label is fired on enamel with no wear or fading. I believe the T.C. stands for "Tooth Cavity"? This interesting bottle contained a tooth filling alloy used in the 1890s by dentists when filling cavities and doing dental work..
