1872 Mrs Winslows Soothing Syrup Receipt Book Advertising Patent Medicines orig

This is a vintage advertising or promotional booklet dated 1872 and issued by Curtis & Brown of 215 Fulton St New York City. Content includes many recipes and household hints, but the main intent is to advertising patent medicines produced by Curtis and Brown including Mrs Winslow's Soothing Syrup, Brown's Bronchial Trouches, Brown's Vermifuge Comfits and the Household Panacea and family liniment. Ms Winslows Soothing Syrup was intended for infants and has quite a notorious reputation (see google) as it contained opium and alchohol. Condition as shown, some wear, had a hanging string that is loose as pictures. Please bid accordingly.
