Binance Opens Another Branch in Ireland

Binance Exchange Opens 7th Subsidiary in Ireland
  • The bear market did not interfere with Binance’s development plans
  • The exchange opened its seventh division in Ireland
  • It was headed by a native of WisdomTree Asset Management

Binance continues to build its position in the European direction. This month, the exchange opened another division in Ireland, Binance Global Sourcing. Previously, Changpeng Zhao considered this country as a site for a new headquarters.

Together with Binance Global Sourcing, the number of exchange units in the local market has reached seven. The new company was headed by a native of WisdomTree Asset Management Carl Long.

Notably, last year CZ publicly stated that it was considering Ireland as the site for the exchange’s European headquarters. But already in May 2022, the CEO changed his mind.

The new headquarters appeared in Paris. But Ireland remains one of the most promising destinations for Binance. This is indicated by the fact that the company opened seven divisions here.

Problems in Europe?

It is surprising that Binance is not losing ground despite the pressure from the regulatory authorities. In the UK, the company’s ex-partner accused her of falsifying financial reports. Later, the Reuters portal published a material in which it accused the company of evading inspections by supervisory authorities. In the Netherlands, the exchange was ordered to pay a fine due to trading without a license.
