Today, August 31, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin announced the release of a book by his own authorship. The publication will be published under the title Proof of Stake: The Creation of Ethereum and the Philosophy of the Blockchain and will include developer notes from the last decade.
Buterin shared this news with his community on the social network Twitter. The book is published in two versions – paper and digital. An electronic copy comes with Buterin’s autograph and a separate NFT.

The book collects Buterin’s technical notes, as well as his reflections on the digital economy in general and the Ethereum ecosystem in particular. Recall that the blockchain co-founder himself is an ardent supporter of PoS and mercilessly criticizes his opponents.
Buterin will donate 90% of the proceeds to the Gitcoin fund. Another 10% will go to the publisher. It is noteworthy that the author himself will not receive any deductions from sales.
Gitcoin described Buterin as a “bright dreamer”. The book is suitable not only for the “old-timers” of Ethereum, it is written in a fairly simple language and will serve as an excellent guide for those who are just getting acquainted with the concept of blockchain and ether.
