Former Cedar Realty COO Nancy Mozzachio Files Charges Against Current CEO
CEO Bruce Schanzer is being accused of sexual harassment and pay discrimination charges by the company’s former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio. Whether the lawsuit will proceed or not, the decision will be made by the judge in Brooklyn.
According to Nancy Mozzachio on her statement last Nov 2 to CEO Bruce Schanzer, she says that he was giving improper comments to ladies at work. According to Nancy, the current CEO of Cedar Realty has made some improper remarks about her breasts and also randomly calling her “babe”. CEO Schanzer is also being accused of making an imprudent comment about bringing some Double Ds to work while Nancy was drinking a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. He also gives tight hugs to the Ex-COO Nancy Mozzachio which seemed to be improper rather than professional.
After the charges of pay disparity and sexual harassment was filed in court, the company has made a crucial decision to remove Nancy as Chief Operating Officer. She was terminated from her position after the meeting was canceled.
On the year 2015 there had been circulations that an external investigation is being conducted regarding the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty did some probing about it. But according to the former COO Nancy, the investigators never probed on the claims made by the female workers who were said to be victims of the sexual harassment as well made by Schanzer. One employee was reportedly being asked by Schanzer the color of her underwear, and that employee went to the Wall Street Journal, you can check it out! Most of the people who claimed to be sexually harassed by the CEO has been paid a large amount of money for their silence, to prevent these stories from reaching to the investigators.
